Your role
As a Maintenance Manager, you play a vital role in the operation of our customers. In this dynamic position, your focus will be on supporting the shift teams on a day-to-day basis. This includes creating and managing schedules, prioritizing preventive and corrective maintenance tasks, and handling project-related activities. You will also oversee spare parts management and provide financial support to ensure the service contract is upheld. Additionally, you serve as the primary point of contact for external partners, including the client, on operational and HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) matters. You will also collaborate with various subcontractors, managing relationships and procurement activities. Besides that, you will also work on electrical, mechanical, and control systems which involve the installation, modification, maintenance, and repairs. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact in maintaining operational excellence and ensuring seamless collaboration across teams and partners. You will be working together with two other technicians in a 16/5 shift system.
Another crucial aspect of your role is your team and its development. This includes practical matters related to personnel management as well as fostering growth through onboarding programs for new colleagues, training initiatives, and individual development plans.
Responsibilities and tasks:
You are generally responsible for the activities of the site-based team, including the team’s development in areas such as spare parts, work preparation, and (financial) administration.
Your focus is on the timely and high-quality execution of preventive maintenance.
Actively take the lead during prolonged or high-impact incidents.
Drive cross-team improvement initiatives to enhance our service delivery.
Prepare and follow up on monthly reports.
Manage HR-related matters.
Supervision on HSE-related topics and agreements.
Ensuring our various installations are in good condition.
Act as a supervisor for the team and make technical decisions.
Be the single point of contact for the customer and Vanderlande Global Service Desk for all operational and technical issues during the shift.
Follow up on the escalation models/ procedures in case Management involvement is needed.

Your Profile
As a Maintenance Manager, you are capable of operating on both operational and tactical levels. You understand the priorities within maintenance activities to ensure every airplane and parcel reaches its destination on time. Your excellent communication skills allow you to convey your advice effectively, both internally and to the client. You are adept at building strong relationships with stakeholders, subcontractors, and customers.
You possess a technical bachelor's-level working and thinking capacity (HBO level).
You have a technical and/or logistics background.
You are an experienced sparring partner for internal and external clients.
You know how to build relationships with clients as well as internal and external suppliers.
Experience in finding and solving system errors and affinity with controls and maintenance
of large automated systems.
You can find the right balance between quality, work duration, operational impact, and costs.
You have advanced technical knowledge and think on both a tactical and operational level.
You can motivate people at every level and are a team builder.
You have a good command of English and/ or are fluent in Dutch.
You are excited to train and guide other colleagues;
What we offer
This position offers a competitive salary range of € 4.000 to € 5.400 gross per month (excluding 8% holiday allowance). Through exceeding performance expectations, you even have the possibility to grow outside this scale.
