What will you do?As a senior license/software asset manager, your primary responsibilities include:• ensuring optimal license management and compliance through analysis, monitoring, and reporting;• assessing if current licenses align with business needs while managing vendor agreements;• providing expert advice on license optimization and procurement strategies;• negotiating with national and international suppliers to secure the best conditions;• contributing to the governance, cost reduction, and training initiatives related to software asset management.
Where do you land?You’ll become part of a vibrant team within the Distributed Services department, based at our modern office at Schiphol. Here, you’ll work alongside multidisciplinary colleagues and maintain regular contact with suppliers and stakeholders. Your role will directly influence KLM’s ICT efficiency, innovation, and sustainability.
Your profileYou are a proactive professional with a strategic mindset and excellent collaboration skills. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, navigate complex challenges with ease, and inspire others through your expertise and vision.
Additionally, you bring:• a master’s degree in ICT or business administration;• 10 years of experience in ICT and software asset management;• a strong understanding of procurement, outsourcing, resource pools, and license management;• proven experience in project management and leading diverse teams;• fluency in written and spoken English.
