What will you do?As a Data & IT Specialist - Catering, you will support IT and data developments within the catering domain. In this role, you will work both project-based and operationally to improve catering processes. Your primary responsibilities include:
- Developing and monitoring detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and required resources.
- Coordinating testing with KLM, KCS, and managing dependencies with stakeholders such as Digital, MyFlight, and suppliers.
- Managing risks and reporting on project progress.
- Overseeing JIRA and EPICS tasks for D&T and KCS to enable flight-specific loading.
- Translating business requirements into IT specifications.
- Maintaining timelines and ensuring timely user testing.
- Acting as a central point of contact for IT developments with stakeholders.
- Training users, performing tests, and improving processes based on feedback.
- Inputting and maintaining master data for inflight products in SAP.
- Identifying and correcting quality issues while processing changes in meal templates, service schedules, and product portfolios.
- Ensuring data accuracy and completeness throughout a product's lifecycle.
With your efforts, you help create a personalized and efficient catering experience, with a focus on European flights.
Where do you land?You will be based at Schiphol East, Building 107, as part of the Catering Ordering & Data team within Network Supply Management (NSM). This team is central to KLM’s inflight catering supply chain, responsible for caterer instructions and master data management.
Your profileWe are seeking a driven specialist with experience in data and IT processes. The ideal candidate will have:
- HBO (higher professional education) level of working and thinking, preferably in a technical, logistics, or IT-related field.
- Proven experience with SAP and master data management.
- Experience in an IT-driven organization.
- Ability to analyze, structure, and interpret complex data.
- Skilled in improving processes based on data analysis.
- Interest in technological advancements and a drive to improve the passenger experience.
