What are your duties?
As a First Officer at Transavia, you will be responsible for the safety and efficiency of our challenging flight operations. You and the entire crew will deliver a truly great journey for both our passengers and our company. At Transavia, we value teamwork. During each flight, you make sure (under the direction of the Captain) that everyone on board has a safe and pleasant flight. You will work closely with the rest of the crew, as well as with the operational support colleagues before and during the flight, within and beyond Transavia.
As a First Officer you will take off and land at a large variety of airports, from Greek islands and popular city break destinations to Norwegian fjords and snow-covered runways in Lapland. Lots of destinations with challenging factors such as high terrain and varying weather conditions. It’s truly a pilot's dream job. You will also enjoy the best views in the world and share this experience with professional and enthusiastic colleagues.
You will be part of a team of over 700 pilots, selected for their sense of responsibility and friendliness. You will work in the Flight Operations department, which also includes Technical Aviation Services, Flight Crew Training, Flight Operations Support and Project Pilots. Together we ensure safety on board and provide our passengers and colleagues with an optimal flight experience.

Between 500 and 2800 hours of relevant experience*?
- Starting salary of € 6.365,97 gross per month. Annually the salary increases (on average € 300,- gross p/month)
- Training allowance of € 2.566,85 gross in the first two months;
Over 2800 hours of relevant experience*?
- Starting salary of € 7.440,76 gross per month. Annually the salary increases (on average € 300,- gross p/month)
- Training allowance of € 2.566,85 gross in the first two months;
- A Type Rating or OCC for the Airbus A320/321 or Boeing 737NG;
- A five-month contract with two months probationary period (we intend to offer a permanent contract once you have successfully completed your training);
- Extra allowance of 10% per month;
- End-of-year bonus (8,33% of 12 x monthly salary);
- holiday allowance (8% of 12 x monthly salary);
- profit sharing scheme;
- Travel allowance € 104,17 per month;
- Route cost allowance € 84,38 per month;
- Pension scheme, employer contribution 22,67%;
- Daily allowance during lay over;
- Loss of licence scheme;
- If you live abroad, you may use the jump seat arrangement on Transavia and KLM flights;

* relevant hours are actual hours flown under the following qualifications:
- A license for a CS-25 certified multi-pilot turbojet or multi-pilot turboprop with a MTOW > 10.000 kg or a certified passenger seat configuration of more than 19 passengers;
- A Military License from the Royal Dutch Air Force or Royal Dutch Navy
Who are you?
Furthermore
You meet one of the following criteria:
- You have a valid type rating Boeing 737 with a minimum of 500 (actual) hours on type;
- You have a valid type rating Airbus A320/A321 with a minimum of 500 (actual) hours on type;
- You have a minimum of 1000 (actual) hours total time and 500 (actual) hours on one of the following aircraft types (of which 50 hours are flown in the last 6 months):
- Multi-pilot turbojet: CS-25 certified;
- Multi-pilot turboprop: MTOM >10.000kg or certified passenger seating configuration of more than 19 passengers.
If you do not speak Dutch, no problem. We do however expect you to put effort into learning Dutch once employed by Transavia.
